Our Operations

The Department of Surgery and Urology has over 500 employees and provides outpatient and inpatient care for patients with surgical and urological diseases. The operations are divided into nine medical sections, four wards, and five clinics. Our mission includes responsibility for both regional healthcare and highly specialized care for national and regional patients as well as those from abroad. We also conduct research, education, and development.

Your Mission

As a business developer, you will report directly to the department head and be part of the management team for the Department of Surgery and Urology. You will play a key role in driving strategic development and improvement of our processes. Your main tasks include three areas:

  • Production involving surgical planning, resource utilization, additional investments, and risk assessments. Act as a coordinating function between the department and its counterparts. Monitor availability and goals for standardized care pathways (SVF).
  • Economy by monitoring surgical activities and national highly specialized care, NHV assignments against financial goals together with financial controllers and the department head.
  • Projects and Improvement Work by leading and assisting employees within the department on projects aimed at increased production, improved accessibility, and economy. Participate in hospital-wide projects for increased production, improved accessibility, and economy.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with several years of experience in the profession, preferably with knowledge in the areas mentioned above, but above all, you have a strong interest in driving and improving operations with a focus on patient welfare. You are an independent and structured person with strong collaboration skills. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Your Competence

As a person, you are driven, but you are also attentive to others. You feel secure in your working methods and have a great interest in developing and working with improvements. You want to see concrete results and can prioritize and take responsibility for completing work within given frameworks. Experience in data-driven work using tools like SAS and other healthcare administrative systems is advantageous. If you combine this with curiosity and meticulousness, you could be the one we are looking for.
